Decrypting
You are not signed in to anything here. This is a public address on the internet. Unlike vault and stacks, no login stands in front of it. The key is what protects it, which is also why Cloudflare stores bytes it cannot read.
You should not have to type it. On the Mac, open
~/.me/cockpit-link.html and send yourself the link once:
Messages to yourself, or an iCloud-synced Safari bookmark. Then tap it here.
There is no ~/.me on a phone, which is the only device that ever
reaches this gate.
The link carries the key in the part of the URL browsers never send to a server; this page stores it and clears the address bar. Once per device, then never again.
